My wife won't be working in the occupations that are restricted, so I don't see a problem with that. I have started gathering the appropriate forms and paperwork together, and will submit by end of week.

It sure sounds like I was waiting for no good reason, and could have submitted a long time ago.

Fair enough, but I'll go out on a limb here to say that I suspect that even a minimally restricted OWP would likely be of great interest to them.

You'll get absolutely no argument from me. As I said, agree that we are both correct here. I was only educating.

Though canuck makes a good point. The meds will be required anyway. So there is pros and cons to just biting the bullet and submitting now, and as they are good for a year, will likely satisfy for the PR meds too. So invest now or wait?

Ultimately the balance here.

@OP: you may want to look into a panel physician near you from CICs web site. They aren't terribly expensive inside Canada..
