I have applied for PGWP on the 27th of April and waiting for the approval, meanwhile, I came to know that my passport is getting expired on 30th March 2021. So I will have a work permit valid till 31st March 2021. Till here I understand that I have to renew a passport from BLS Ottawa and get my work permit extended.
The complication starts now, my husband is here on my study permit having OWP ( Open work permit ) which is valid only till my study permit (30th November ), so we have very short time from now to get sorted my work permit and then his work permit, my passport renewal and then my work permit extension, after that on the basis of that again my husband's work permit (please note here his passport is valid till 2021 November).
one option I could think of is :
Shall I apply for a new passport and upload the new passport copy through webform so that she will get full 3 years of PGWP instead of shorter work period rights?
Please do suggest some useful insights and complications I should be ready to handle. if you know anyone who has been through a similar situation.
