Hi Friends , I am currently in Canada on work permit and my dependents (spouse and kid) were with me here in Canada however in Feb'20 they went back to India. Back in 2019 my wife had got a 1 yr visa based on my WP which has now got expired . I am planning to apply visiting visa for my wife from India now the question is as we have a valid biometric that was done in 2019 , Where do i need to put the biometric details so that she doesnt have to go for biometrics again
Appreciate the help

She should really be applying for an SOWP if you have extended your WP and she is planning on living in Canada. Spouses are often denied TRVs because it is clear they are coming to Canada as a temporary visitor.

Hi , thanks for the response what does SOWP and i am sorry but not following the reason as to why you say the TRV's are often denied . Appreciate if you could clarify that .

TRV is for temporary stay. They are usally denied for spouses. So, apply for Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) which has more chnaces of approval.
