How was he banned? Were you on an application with him and were you banned?

Unless you received a specific letter saying you were banned, his ban should not apply for you. If you divorce him and then re-marry him, you will cause more problems.

If one family member is inadmissible, the entire family is inadmissible for PR, so yes, the ban does affect OP.
