Hi,

I am from Bangladesh .My hubby has applied for Spouse Visa ( Family Class Sponsorship) and sent documents to mississauga ,ontario on Feb 07, 2013. Probably it may take around one year to get the visa.

But can anyone please tell me is it a wise decision to apply for a visit visa during this processing time (spouse visa) ?????

It probably won't be approved. Your best chance is to wait until he's approved as a sponsor, then put together the best application you can with proof you must return to your home country. You'll need to show you have things at home that you can't leave unattendable permanently, such as property, dependant family, a business, etc. Even with that, the chances are low, so only apply if you can afford the risk.

I think you can apply for temporary resident visa as a dependent.

Thank you for your prompt reply. In your reply, you talked about the risk; what kind you risk involved in applying for a visiting visa?

When my husband is approved as a sponsor then, if I apply for visit visa, whether or not I get the visit visa, will that interfere with our actual Sponsorship Application? (Spouse Visa)

I meant the fee. $75 CAD.

No, there's no impact.
