Spouse visa inland with Open work permit -HELP~

Hi, I have submitted my spouse visa in July and just submitted schedule A to them last week. I am waiting for the open work permit which I am aware will take 2-4 months. I have a potential employer and wonder if I submit a letter from him, will that hasten the process of getting my open work permit or it doesn't really affect the length of getting OWP??
