u can pass Montreal and continue to ur final destination in Canada...but if Montreal is the final destination and u didn't initially apply as future Quebec resident and u don't have the CSQ then i think not....Quebec has its own processing too for which u need to apply (that happens after the sponsor approval and before getting the visa)

I was not called for an interview.....my medicals expire on 10May this year. File transferred to Abu Dhabi office 18June,2011. Additional information requested in November,2011......Passport requested in March,2012

My medical will expire also end of May. But I mean after how many days from updated ur e-case "We have recieved your medical test" did you recieve your passport request.
Because they updated my cases to medical recived this Sunday. Is it good sign? Can I expect PPR soon?

and also u don't need to redo the medicals, that's great....i feel they start to move faster and i think they didn't ask u to cancel ur residence visa before right? i didn't see u mentioning that anywherecongrats again and have a nice new beginning in Canada
actually my application was submitted in early Jan'11....later in feb returned since i had not done medicals and police clearence and some other forms missing.....completed everything and resubmitted. cancelling my visa now since i have to move. I guess Abu dhabi office is moving fast now.
