Spouse VISA and/or work permit?

My spouse got an offer from UBC for the upcoming fall session.
Is it possible to get a spouse visa and/or work permit in Vancouver?
How long does it take to get the visa and what are the requirements?

Yes she can apply for ur open work permit!!!! this is legal..... you can study while she is studying and she can work also after 6 months with off campus work permit.. but if she get offer from university she can work in campus!! without any work permit!!
