I have aip and my spouse had applied for temp resident visa. Got notification a few weeks ago from IRCC by email her application was being cancelled due to not requiring a visa for travel as she is a british citizen, although there was no change in her GCKey account. Received an email today asking to pay biometics fee, and to upload the receipt in GCKey account within 5 days.
The IRCC letter also states "This fee is required in addition to the $100 application processing fee that has been paid" however no application fee was paid when her application was submmited. Clearly some admin issues in IRCC offices.
Now it would be crazy if she got a 2 year resident visa and I didn't get my 2nd stage approval!!!
