Security check started in February 2021. My husband was in the lebanese military for 2 years (From 2016 to 2018). I wanted to know if anybody can share their timeline if you were in the same situation. I can not find anybody who was in the LEBANESE ARMY to compare the process and timeline of a security check. Thank you!

Not necessarily a problem but expect a much more thorough background check so that could lead to longer processing time.

Guys, IRCC won't refuse the application because of your job (unless it's illegal). What might happen is the background check takes longer than usual - around 2 years.

Of course, it can be shorter, but it depends on many things like the country, military service, etc. These factors considerably affect the processing time. Be patient, and good luck.
