Our family is in canda and my husband holds closed work permit and he is applying for individual PR, I want to know what will be our status ones he gets his PR. Now I am in Open work permit and kids are in study visa. Ones he is in PR status, How long it will take to apply for PR for us. Do we need to apply for other type of visa to stay in canada or what is the process kindly let is know on this.

He cannot apply for individual PR. He must include you and children under 22 in the application.

If he gets PR while listing you as non-accompanying dependents you would need to reapply for study permits and study permits once your expire. He should be including you as accompanying dependents.
 
I am in open work permit, my kids are in study permit, what visa he should raise for us post on his PR approval
 
Your spouse needs to include you and your children in the PR application. He cannot leave any of you out (accompanying or not). Since all of you are already in Canada, it makes sense for him to include family in the application so all of you can get PR at the same time when it's approved. (accompanying)

Not 100% sure what does "individual PR" mean. But since he's married with children, he needs to include all in his PR application. If he leave out that from his application, it's misrepresentation.
 
If he does not declare his spouse and children, he will never be able to sponsor them!
