Spouse Sponsorship file - Proof of Payment query

my spouse submitted file with all docs to CIC for spouse sponsorship and it came back to home after one month. CIC stated like "Proof of payment of processing fees for the person listed on application with a correct form of fee payment and sufficient fund and refer cic site".
In my case, we paid $475 CAD for this spouse file and attach proof of payment with this file.
do we have to pay more any ?
In my case, my spouse only sponsoring me here.
what fees is missing here to pay?
we have not hired any lawyer.

Your best bet will be to pay the whole amount again correctly.It says on CIC website that you will get a refund if your application is returned to you. So you can call them and check the status of refund.

Pay at least the sponsorship application fee ($75), and submit a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) alerting them to the payment. Include the PDF receipt. Otherwise they wont even start processing. Do this ASAP because they could just return the application, as fees are not paid...

If you can, pay the RPRF ($490) as well...

Don't cancel anything. Just pay the mandatory outstanding ($75) and if you can, the one that's coming up ($490).

Call the call centre is probably best. Tell them you missed the sponsorship application fee and now you can't pay just that online. They can direct you. 888-242-2100.

There is no separate option to pay the $75 fee anymore. You can pay either the $550 or the full $1040. You will then need to request a refund for the $475.
