We took the two pictures of the applicant. Only one has the stamp of the studio but not the name of the applicant. The other one is blank on the back.

Should we write her name and date of birth on the back of both photos?

Yes...just hand write the name and date of birth...note that the instructions say to have it on 1 photo. So keep the one that is blank....blank.

The photo specs are pretty clear on what is required, it says:

The back of one photo must include:
•the subject’s name and date of birth
•the name and complete address of the photography studio
•the date the photograph was taken

The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.


Just a bit worried about you saying you have the stamp of the studio on the back - fine as long as it also includes the studios complete address (the studio I used didn't).

As they have requested 2 photos, therefore the second photo should be blank on the back.
