Spouse sponsorship application

Hi I've sponsored for my husband who is back home in India. We have received the file number and he has received his unique client Id number too. I applied in Sep, 2014 and he has been asked to do his medical in Nov,2014. We have completed all the process yet waiting for a reply from New Delhi Immigration Office in India. Is it possible for my husband to come to Canada in visiting VISA while the application is in process. I'm a independent working woman having a difficult time. I'd like to meet my husband as soon as possible. Is there any way for me to meet my husband. Can somebody please help me.

If your application is filed outland, then there is no issue with your husband visiting you in Canada for any length of time-- provided he can get a visitor's visa, which I've read is sometimes difficult when a PR application is in process.

Hi I just liked to asked if you guys experienced the same situation

I've passed our papers sept. 18, 2014 it says online it has been received at CPC office by sept. 19 . Right now it's january 10, 2015! I haven't received any file number Im totally freaking out! :'( I have two friends with the same situation trying to get their spouse outside canada and they already got their file number after 2months that they submitted their papers. Ive been trying to call CIC but it won't let me speak with an agent. I'm so frustrated!
