Spouse Sponsership

What if the Canadian spouse married to the international student and is on disability needs to sponser the student for PR????? How does it work?

There may be concerns that the Canadian spouse can't support the spouse. Anticipate that there are often need for more financial proof. Unfortunately in some cultures disabled people are not considered a good spouse for many able bodied people so there may be a concern that this could be a marriage of convenience. It all depends on the individual case.

Would suggest you get PGWP and work and plan as if you may need to apply for your own PR if there is difficulties when it comes to spousal sponsorship. Each case is individual so very hard for me to comment.
