Hi everyone! I am under worker permit and applied to PGWP, just received a refusal yesterday to my wife, who is pregnant and was on her process to complete her 600 worked hours, in order to apply to mat leave.
We believe the reason why her visa was refused is because on my paystub I was registered as barista and the employer letter cashier/ supervisor. We will apply to restore to her visa, but don’t thing we will get it on time…. Have anyone been through a similar experience?

So she needs to stop working. Change status to visitor and reapply for SOWP.

What do you mean by being on a WP and applying for PGWP? Do you mean SP not WP?

Did you have 3 pay stubs when your wife applied for her OWP. How large is the business you are working at? How many employees are working under you? What does the owner do? How much are you earning per hour and in what province? A supervisor should be earning a higher salary. IRCC is aware that many employers state that employee is a supervisor or assistant supervisor or manager to be considered an NOC 0, A or B but doesn’t make sense based on salary or size of the business.

Unfortunately your spouse has no other option but to stop working and change their status to visitor.
