Spouse Open Work permit

Hello ,

I am in situation where I am on a PGWP and my husband is on open work permit.

His visa is expiring next month 30 April, 2020. To extend his visa, I was doing NOC B level job full time. I got all the documents from my employer and I was about to file my husband’s visa.

But due COVID 19, my employer has to temporarily lay off all the employees. Please advice in this scenario, What should I do?? Should i apply for the visa with explanation letter?? what can i do?? Suggestions from all the members are welcome. Kindly give me advice. Thank you
