Spouse open work permit extension

Hi,

I am an international student till Dec 31, 2020, and I applied for a spouse open work permit in Feb 2020 and got it approved in September 2020. So she has only two months in her work permit as it will expire on Dec 31, 2020. I have applied for PGWP and waiting for its approval to extend her work permit. In the meantime, Can she look for jobs? Can she work on a visitor visa under the given circumstances with COVID?

She can look for jobs. Note that you must have a NOC A, B or 0 job in order for her to qualify to extend her work permit.

No, she cannot work on a visitor visa.
