Hello Folks,

This question might have been answered previously but I wanted to clarify again in current scenario.

If my wife enrolls into any Masters course in any of the Canadian universities, will I be eligible to apply for work permit and apply for full time jobs in canada.

Also what is the minimum IELTS score required for enrolling in any Masters program.

After Masters degree is completed, how long is a student eligible to stay in Canada (if any)

Thanks!

You can apply for spouse open work permit. ( SOWP). However approval rate of these types of visa are low given historic abuse of said permit. You will need to give a good application.

That depends on the University in question and what they ask. There is no constant number , you will have to search that depending on what university you want to study in.

PGWP is based on program length not type of program credentials. From 8 months to less than 2 years you will get a PGWP that is the same length of your studies.

For 2 years and more you will get 3 years PGWP.
