Spouse of BC PNP applicant — planning to work in Alberta, is it allowed?

everyone, I’m currently in Canada on an open work permit as the spouse of my wife, who is the principal applicant for the BC Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

We’re in the process of applying for BC PNP, but I’m considering taking a job in Alberta. • Would this affect our BC PNP application in any way? • Are there any restrictions on where I can work while the application is in process, since I’m not the principal applicant? • Has anyone here had experience with a similar situation?
