My wife is Foreign worker skill level O, A or B in Management position . she just been nominated for Permanent resident by province nominee, but hasnt turned the application yet... My Question was - can she turn in a open work permit made outside canada for her spouse before submitting the PNP? if not whats a good situation she can do for us to be together again in canada and how long will any process will take..... Thanks

You can apply for an open work permit based on your wife's work permit but you'd still have to prove that you will not overstay in Canada.

Thanks Leon, Another Questions- (1)- since we were married in Nova Scotia 4months ago and i have to leave canada because my 6months stay is over as a u.s citizen, you think i can apply (owp) in port of entry and what documents need to show canadian immigration comming from my wife? (2)- would it be faster to apply inland or outland application for open work permit ? ....What do you recommend would be a better choice?

You need copies of your wife's work permit and your marriage certificate. Being from a country who does not need visa to enter Canada, you can apply at a port of entry and of course you also need $150.00 for the WP app fee :)

Thanks job-seeker......(1) Even if my wife just been Nominated Province Nominee of Nova Scotia (NSNP), but hasn't turned the application yet, i can get a (owp) in Port of Entry still with her own wp and our marriage certificate ?..... or i have to wait till she gets the Nominee certificate before i can get owp at the port of entry? oh i forgot to add one thing do i need medical certificate while applying for owp in port of entry or can i just get inland in canada after i arrive ??????

As long as her work is under skilled type. You can also apply once you are in Canada. Why do you want to wait more than two months when you can have it in less than 30 minutes?
