Spouse No Longer Wishes to Enter Canada after PR Received

Hi all! In short, I am the principal applicant on the Canadian PR application which was recently approved. My spouse who is sponsored on the same application also received the visa but no longer wishes to move to Canada at this time. Can I still make the trip to Canada and get a PR card independently, or does my spouse need to enter Canada at the same time as me (or within a certain time frame)?

should both do the landing at least before the copr expiry. then its a story of maintaining pr. it's too bad to waste the opportunity.
