Spouse name change after marriage and inclusion of my name in her passport

Hello,

I am looking for kind opinion here.

Me and my wife are from India passport holders and here in Canada on Work permit. I have all the details correct on my passport and Work permit i.e first name , last name etc at correct part.

Where as in my wife passport , Her first name and last name are mentioned under "GIVEN NAME" and "SURNAME" has been left blank .
However in her Work permit , her first name and last name are under "SURNAME" and GIVEN NAME has been left blank

Now situation is , As she has her Surname before marraige in her passport so I would like to correct few details altogether before applying PR under CEC and get three things done

1#Inclusion of my name in her passport
2#Update with my address in her passport
3#Surname change in her passport after marriage (which will basically be my Surname)


While checking BLS site , I noticed there is section for "Surname change after marriage" and it asks for attested marriage certificate from MEA , New Delhi and I have get this part done already. Now this fulfill requirement of point#3 only. (https://www.blsindia-canada.com/chan_surnm_aft_marg.php) and just FYI , i will be applying under Toronto Jurisdiction

Please suggest --- what would be requirement for point#1 & 2 and if there are some join affidavit (Annexure D) or something, Can anybody suggest whether i will have to notarized from some lawyer or somewhere else or only a self attested & signed copy of joint affidavit will be sufficient.

Last most important question - Once I will be done with all this and will get new passport -- Do I need to get these details updated in Work permit before I can apply for PR under CEC or what options I will have.

When you apply for #3, generally a new passport will be issued. Her wife will be asked to provide #2, and #1 is automatic given you are applying for #3.

With respect to the WP, there is not much need as her name change is occurring after the fact that the permit is issued. But to be on the safer side, and if you have the time, apply for correction of permit and get it changed to the correct name.
