Spouse name addition to passport

Hello all,

I am planning to get married by the end of this year and then sponsor her to Canada. I am currently a PR in Canada. Currently she lives in India and has an Indian passport. Will she require a new passport which includes the spouse name for the sponsorship or can she use the existing one without the spouse name.

Its not necessary to add spouse name... existing passport is good for the sponsorship purposes..
