We did. You cannot always follow up cem or else they will get annoyed and hold back the passport with visa .

Hi Sis Dalawa ang Checklist, isa sa Sponsor at isa sa Applicant. Sa Photos sa applicant 9 photos yun. Ang checklist nang Sponsor ko ay IMM 5491 Document Checklist Sponsor, pero yung Document Checklist na tinutukoy mo ay IMM 5443 Checklist Spouse/Common law in Canada, ang pagkaka alam ko is pareho kayong nasa Canada na mag apply. Ako as applicant andito sa pinas, sponsor ko nasa Canada kaya checklist Sponsor IMM5491 or outside Canada. Sana nakatulong ako kahit pano!

Hi forum-mates, meron na po ba ditong na-approve mag sponsor kahit student palang? Student palang kasi ang husband ko and he will graduate this May palang. No job yet pero nagaapply na sya sa companies. We plan to send our application kahit student palang sya. Ma-approve kaya ang husband ko to sponsor? Meron ba dito na student pa rin ang spouse pero na-approve mag sponsor?

What? Are you sure with that? That is very impossible to what you say ..my visa validity is until oct and all my documents will be expired before oct,because my nbi will expire this coming may first week and July for my medical.that would be crazy..they ask our passport last jan and got dm march 20. How can you simply say after dm would have to wait 7 months???since our visa validity is oct 23.so you're waiting more than a month after dm?

hi..it will just take couple of weeks.....you wont wait months......it is not dependent to the visa validity.....

Hi question,
i have submitted my husband's application and I noticed that I answered one question incorrectly.
Question was have you resided in other countries other than Canada,and I incorrectly answered no,should have been yes. They have already received my application and could no longer rectify the mistake. Will it result to refusal?

nopt really but you must inform CIC ASAP..coz if not it will result refusal since iot will show dishonesty..but informing them indicates it is just a mistake....email them with the same form with the correct info and explain why the first one was wrong....

SA approval: October 22, 2014
File transferred to CEM: November 6, 2014
Request to pay RPRF and paid on: November 7, 2014
PPR: March 4, 2015
PP sent: March 9, 2015

Any September 2014 applicants here whose Ecas changed to DM? Mine still application received..PPR received by CEM March 9, 2015

Normally it will be scanned automatically after 5-6 months by the NSO and you can get a copy from them after that delay. If you wanted to have it done in less time (3 weeks to a month) you had to request (maybe still possible) an advanced endorsement from the City Hall or office that managed your license. It costs a few pesos (500 if I remember well).

In my case, I went to NSO after a month and it was in the system. I asked for copies and it took 3 open days to get them.

Thank you superded, I'll just follow up at the LCR-city hall.

Hi! Got married last feb. I'm still waiting for my option c to be avilable. Called CRA several times but they haven't received my docs yet since my accountant filed it thru mail. Back to your question, you need not to call cic to change your last name.. I still use my maiden name in my application. I believe it's your choice as to when to change your last name or if you would want to use it. I will do that when my husband is already here. hehe what you may want to do is to update your cra my account from single to married so you will have bigger tax return next yr. hehe
2nd question No, there is no income req for you to sponsor your spouse. as long as you have a job then that would be fine.

Can I send you pm so I can ask some info regarding some clarification on filled up form.i'm almost done with the requirements but needs to double check first before submitting it.needs option C too and NSO marriage certificate.

Hello po May question po ako, Natanong ko na to sa kabilang thread pero nalilito pa din ako kung anu susundin ko, sa mga nag fill up na po nang form isinama nyo po ba ang middle name nyo (maiden name) sa given name? Tsaka yung may mga special character sa surname kagaya sakin (ñ) nilagay nyo po ba or n lang talaga pwede na? Sana po may makasagot. Maraming salamat!
