Hi everyone! I am a PR since sept 2010 and am planning to sponsor my husband who is in the philippines. I understand that a sponsor doesn't need to be employed. I am currently pregnant and is expecting our baby to be born very very soon since i am already full term. Right now, while i am unemployed, my father is supporting me financially. I just want to know what documents do i need to include in our application about this current situation.

Also.. According to the doc checklist found in country specific instructions for the philippines, a photocopy of a canadian passport or a citizenship certificate of a canadian dependent child should be included in the application if the principal applicant (my husband) has one. As i've said, we are just waiting for our baby to be born soon, mu question is this: can we just wait for the birth cert of our soon to be canadian child and include a photocopy of it in replacement to the passport/ citizenship certificate requirement? Or do i really need to apply for a passport for our child after i receive the baby's birth cert.

The birth cert alone takes a month to get in our hands because it takes 4 weeks for a birth to be registered. If a passport is really needed, i will have to wait another 20 business days for the baby's passport to be delivered on our doorsteps after applying for one. ;D ;D your child wont be a dependant child of your husband just a proof of your ties to him

if your in canada and the baby is born here he/she will be a canadian citizen, you dont need his passport only his birth certificate to show your ties of your husband to canada, having a wife and child living here

Ano po status nyo sa E-CAS? pg DM na dw usually visa was issued na. na tatagalan dw lng yan ma receive kasi na stock ng matagal sa DHL.
Kaya yung ginawa ko noong DM na kmi, sinabihan ko si hubby na tumawag sa local main office ng DHL sa lugar nmin kung meron syang letter from CEM na tawagan sya agad which is nangyari nman.

Hello po sa inyong lahat..Magtatanong lang po sana ako kasi may tumawag po sa akin kaninang taga-Canadian embassy, ang sabi po nya magreport na daw po ako sa office nila sa Thursday morning at pinapadala na po ang passport ko at booking certification...yun lang po sinabi nya....VISA na po ba yan? at kung sakali po meron pa po ba akong dapat dalhin bukod dyan sa binanggit nila kasi kinakabahan ako baka may hingin pang ibang dokumento na nakalimutan lang nila sabihin. ITo po pala timeline ko. MEdical - April 13, 2012; July 29, 2012 - CIC received our application; OCtober 17, 2012 - sponsorhip approved tpos ngyong April 02, 2013 tinawagan na ako na magreport sa knila sa Thursday at pinapadala na yung passport at booking cert. ko. Sis Congratulation malapit kanang maging Applicant at sa larong Waiting Game , wag mong kalimutan isama ang Original COPY 2 galing sa DMP nyo ng anak mo sa isesend mong Application package nyo papunta dito . Ipaprint mo sis kasi photocopy ang ikeep mo Original ang isasama mo .

hey guys tanong lang as a primary sponsor ang meron lang sa e-cas ko is decision made as a sponsor nung tumawag ako sa CIC sabi nila na forward na ung aplication namin ng misis ko sa pinas nung nov 16.

pero sakin ba lalabas ung medical recieved and kailan sya makakauha ng UIC number nya to check the status online meron ba paraan para ma request ung UIC ng misis ko? thanks in advance!
