PDOS= Pre Departure Orientation Seminar

CFO= Commision On Filipinos Overseas

Filipino emigrants or those leaving the country to settle permanently abroad are required to register with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas. Part of its registration requirements is attendance in the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) to prepare them for settlement overseas.

Oh my God, today is sunday but DM na ako mga friends.Thank God.Kakacheck ko lang at galing sa hospital dahil nakaconfine ang grandson ko.Naiyak talaga ako at sumigaw.Tinawagan ko hubby ko ang ingay ko daw kasi tulog sya,sabi ko i am just so excited.

Good day po, bago lang po ako dito...nag apply po yung dad ko ng PR last july 2012 waiting pa din kami..4 kami magkakapatid yung ate ko drop na sa application kasi 23 na siya nung inapply yung PR and nagwowork na siya..nagstop naman kaming 3 magkakapatid nitong 2nd sem dahil nagkaproblema sa work ng dad ko...ask ko lang po kung maaapektohan ba yung application dahil declare namin nag aaral pa kami pero ngayon stop kami and mag 22 na po ako kaya iniisip ko baka matanggal ako sa application...any advice po kung ano dapat namin gawin..thanks po sa magrereply

kasi Kakakuha ko lng kasi ng nso docs ko and I've found out na mali yung spelling ng middle ng father ko. Kasi sa nso BC ko DIEPARINE yung mid name nya, at sa nso BC naman ng father ko ay DEIPARINE ang pagkaka spelled.. nasa AOM kasi namin yung full name ng father ko baka kasi ma compare nila sa BC ko na iba spelling.. :-( big issue ba yan sa embassy? Na wo-worry talaga ako plan na sana namin mag submit ng app this month :-(

Sa lahat ng wala pa tiis lang muna kayo na susunod.I went to the CFO today.It was so tiring registration in the morning tapos 2pm to 5pm seminar.So bali whole day ako.I got the sticker and ready to go na..anyways next month pa alis ko ..3rd week of april.Sa mga mag PDOS pa dalhin nyo na lahat ng docs marriage cert. birth cert. visa, pictures together.May mga hindi nabigyan ng certification kasi kulang mga docs kawawa naman ang layo layo ng binyahe pati cemar,divorce cert etc....dalhin nyo na lahat esp yong mga galing pa ng mindanao.

Hi guys, question lang. Just got my SA this morning. Just wondering if it's a good idea to forward additional docs to CEM once our file has been transfered.
Yung NBI kasi ng husband ko Oct 2012, then nagapply kami Feb 2012 so more than 3 months na siya. We didn't know about the 3-month rule until napasa na namin yung app. Also, we did not send AOM but CENOMAR instead.

Do you think it's better to send it to them and use our file and UCI number to match the docs or just wait for them to ask?
I'm just worried baka matagalan pa kung may docs request pa later on.
