Ako din nagrereview for ielts sis. Home study although i enrolled sa niners cant leave parents eh... Ang taas kc ng itinaas ng crne..sakit sa tenga ang listening. Hays any tips? Free net review? Hehe. Thanks sis

kakakuha ko lang ielts. sa IDP ako nag register. i wasnt really prepared, mga 1 month lang review ko, 2 hours a day lang...honestly, it wasnt enough sis. sa writing, meron pattern yan, stick with the pattern, mejo okay kana. sa speaking, practice makes perfect talaga. too easy ang mga questions, kaya lang minsan, nauunahan ng kaba. sa listening, madali lang sa amin (i think) kasi mabagal mag pronounce ng words (not australian or british accent, parang canadian accent nga eh, i think). sa reading???? yun ang di ko alam....kahit sa practice, ang baba ng score ko. dapat may technique talaga sa reading. pag malaman mo yung technique, madali nalang. yung ibang kasama ko, they rewrite and summarize the story para mas maintindihan nila pero dapat mabilis ka. nakaka 8-8.5 mga score nila, kaya lang mabagal ako mag rewrite... so, ang secret sa ielts, it think...STRATEGY/TECHNIQUE, ALERTNESS and PRACTICE Good luck. I didnt pressure myself, kaya parang di ko sineryoso ang exam, sinasabi lagi ng asawa ko, if u cant make it there...do it here again. It lessens the pressure, pero mas okay narin na try pa din ang best. I know I can pass the exam....ang problema kasi sobrang taas ng requirements ng CRNE, so bahala na si batman hehehe.

Nakarelate akobsau sis, nong naaproved sponsor(hubby) sabi mg enrol nako review though nag enrol nako talga at home study na kht naka enrol ako bec i need materials, u cant practice without it lol. Sabi nya take it march if u fail april ulit i was like what?! He said thats an order! Haha. So the pressure gets to heavy, he said there are banks who can lend money so just take the test, i understand the rush bec it takes time for the papers assesement i heard about 8-12 mos now, so we really hope while im stil here i can work on that already so when i get there less time of waiting na. Yeay pinaynurse crne is driving international nurses like us with their ielts score rqmnts, i told my husband i can take the nclex 10x but ielts in canada is idk..he is suportive ( and pushy at the same time haha) bec he said if i dont make it this time theres always time for retake and there is celban there if we don make it here, all im worried abt is he works his butt so hard and i cant afford to waste hard earned money..so im working hard on this. Anyway thanks that i get to talk to my colleagues here

Hello again. I've recently found out an error from my sponsor's NSO birth certificate. The one on his records in Canada was from the Local Civil Registry (there was no NSO then). It was an erroneous place of birth entry. And with that, the marriage certificate has the same error (his place of birth) what do you think I should do about it? I was told to secure an affidavit of discrepancy for both marriage and birth certificates but im not sure if they honor it. Anybody on the same boat? TY!

if i were u better go to local registrar and make it change.. they will be the one to make an affidavit of it and submit it to nso...kasi ganyan din marriage namin may error sa day of birth ko.. thats why it takes long time for me to get corrected nso...importante yon eh.. but its worth...maybe madali lng sa iyo if ur n manila kasi cebu mabagal talaga as in. kinasal kami nov,2010 but naka pag appply lng kami august.. pero nakuha kuna june 2011 ang corrected na marriage then nag pa change agad ako ng surname....

My baby and I finally landed yesterday! Ang haba ng flight kaya nakakpagod. Buti behaved yung baby ko at kasama ko mom-in-law ko kaya, di masyado mahirap.

Sa Pilipinas, pinakita ko lang passport namin. Yung 2 passports ng babyko. Nagmura pala yung terminal fee, ngayon Php550 na lang .

After nun, dumating kami Korea, we had a 6-hr stop over pero nagstay naman kami dun sa lounge ng prestige class. ( binigay ito ng agent kahit na economy class lang kami). May food dun at lazyboi chair para makapagpahinga ng maayos.

Nung nagland na kami sa Toronto, inabot kami ng 2 hours bago nakalabas. Yung hubby ko at dad-in-law inip na inip na sa labas. Pagdating, binigay ko lang sa customs yung prinipare na form sa flight. Isang household, isang declaration. Kaya kasama sa declaration yung gamit ng mom-in-law ko. After nun pila sa immigration. Tinanong lang ako sa name ng asawa ko, work ko kung may dalang pera. Lahat ng documents prinesent ko sa immigration (passports, COPR, Customs form, citizenship card ng baby ko). After nun may madadaanan na babae na magbibigay ng maraming kit at brochures. After nun baggage claim, yung gamit na nga lang namin natira sa carousel. Try to have cash kasi 2CAD yung isang trolly na maliit. Pag gumamit ng malaking trolley na parang ginagamit sa hotel sa laki, by the number of bags/boxes ang bayad. Inabot yung sa amin ng CAD14 , 5 boxes and bags kasi.

After nun medyo mahigpit sa customs especially sa first time immigrants. Idadaan sa xray lahat ng gamit. Tinatanong din isa isa laman ng gamit. Kung may infant formula declare nyo lang , they will allow it pero pag iba dairy products , big NO yun. Wag kayo magdadala ng mga reno, corned beef , chicharon at ibang meat products kung ayaw nyo mapabuksan lahat ng gamit nyo. 200 sticks lang ang cigarette allowance at 1.14 liquor or 1.5 alcohol. Declare nyo yan kung ayaw nyo magmulta ng malaki plus magkarecord pa. 600 sticks fdala namin pero dineclare ko lahat, dapat 400 sticks lang allowed pero dahil cute daw baby ko, pinalusot nya kami.

Pagkalabas namin, babayaran na yung charge sa trolley. Naghihintay dun yung hubby ko at dad-in-law ko. Kailangan ng 2 kotse kasi madami gamit. Ang lamig! Dala lang ng hubby ko coat , gloves at bonnet para sa akin. Yung sa baby ko dala na namin. Ang lamig, pati mukha ng anak ko tinakluban ko na ng blanket. Ang nilakad lang namin mula exit ng airport up to the parking lot.

Ang saya makita na magkasama na din yung mag-ama ko. Happy kami , happy din si baby. Favorite nya makipaglaro s Papa nya.

It's my second time to get it po nagexpire rin sakin 2010 pa at di ko nagamit kasi ngwork ako sa SAudi. I am currently doing my review at home, pero im planning to have crash course 2 weeks before March 10 (IDP). Mejo pressured na po ngyon kasi I don't want to waste my hubby's money, nakakahiya kasi diba sya yung ngwwork. Tapos visa pressured pa and syempre miss na miss na natin mga asawa natin... haay...
I am doing all I can to gather review materials po at I am surprised at marami naman sa net pala kahit sa youtube. Kaya for those who are planning po- you can just hit the search engine sa google at maraming marami po ang site na makakatulong sa pagrereview. Everyday i always go to youtube and watch Study English IELTs preparation courses, try it... A friend of mine gave me review materials from Niner, though i don't know where is that kasi andito po ako sa Baguio. I am having difficulty in all 4 categories, especially yung writing and speaking. So, pls if u have some tips share it naman...?? I think we can start a new forum for this IELTS topic and nursing application in canada??? para we can help each other all through out the process. Hindi ko nga lang alam mgstart... hehehe

About your NBI I think there's no big deal about it.
I used my maiden name in all of my documents. When i took my NBI I asked their head how will be my clearance cause i just got married and I'm still using my maiden name for all of my docs specially my passport... So, he said it is ok for my clearance to still be single using my maiden name. With your case, Pinaynurse1 is right for me, the VO will definitely consider. Hope everything will be alright... chill out, relax!

im NURSE too.. pero di RN kukunin ko dito sa canada.. ready to write na ako for RPN.. mahal kasi ng assessment ng RN.. and MELAB nalang kukunin kong english proficiency..

well if dyan pa kayo sa pinas pa assess nyo na dito sa canada papers nyo para pag dating nyo exam nalang ang gagawin nyo just in case pumasa sa assessment of RN or RPN... mahirap mag ayos lalo na sa school papers na ipapadal sa CNO if ontario kayo mag base...

Sa British Council ako ngregister sa Ortigas they gave me a free book reviewer tapos I can review dun sa mga materials nila unlimited for free. Kahit sa mga listening writing etc meron silang mga dvd players and headsets dun na pwede mo gamitin as long as dun ka ngregister sa kanila

ang GT, para maka pasok ka sa Canada. Ang Acad, kung sa canada kana...para maka pag trabaho ka as nurse. Acad lang ang ni-recognize ng CRNE.

Finish na ako mgtake May 19 of last year. So far so good naman, I only had 3 weeks nun to review self study lang ako ng google lang ako ng mga links sa IELTS tapos umatend ako ng 1 day crash course sa british council kasi dapat FSW kami mg-aapply and then naisip namin spousal na lang we had to wait a couple of months more to apply para 1 year kami.
