Here's my timeline

Application received: April 14 2015
Aor: may 7 2015
SA: June 8 2015
Appendix A & ppr: July 13 2015

Question, for those who submitted their Appendix A and Passport did you also put your sponsor's name in the spouse/common law field or did you just fill out the Applicant section?
Thanks in advance

Hi tok19 yes my husband filled out the spouse/common law section too aside from the applicant section. He's the sponsored person so ya he wrote my name on the spouse section. Your welcome.

Hi Memefab AOR is when CIC emails you regarding your sponsored persons application that they received it on an indicated date. Also in that email there will be a file attachment and it will indicate your sponsored persons file number. He/she can use that file number to check the status of his/her application on ecas. :)

Thanks for the response pineapple5678, on the account that he checked the date that you are saying is indicated too, it says that an application sponsoring (my name) was received on june 4, 2014 and start processing on july 10, 2015. Theres also a column indicating my name under the sponsored name, in the column with headings of sponsorship application status it says that "in process", then the last column PR application status it says "application received". Im thinking maybe its the same as AOR that other applicants received tru email. Im a little bit confused regarding what we have checked and that thing AOR beacause as of today still no email from them but then as we checked our application is already been processed. Thats why I have a thought that if you have "client id" (i dont know if only citizen have been given that or Permanent residents can have that too, i dont know im not that familiar) you can check your application status easily using client id because maybe they just update the account rather than sending AOR to emails.

Hi I guess that says it on ecas because in my case I wasnt able to check the status of my application on ecas until after I got their email. Since it says in process and application received on ecas that means they are working on your application already. I dont know why there was no email coz they usually email the sponsor if they provided an email address on the application. Permanent residents do get a client ID too. Anyway good luck! :)

Just wanna ask sa mga nakapag Upfront medical na, which is better? IOM or St. Lukes? We are planning to submit our application maybe by the end of this month. My common-law partner is my sponsor, and i am the applicant. Thanks

My daughter and I had ours at St. Lukes.. walk in lang just make sure to be there early.. sa IOM you need to make an appointment pa.
