Yesterday I received a phone call at 8:15pm, I thought it was my honey but then I heard, "do you speak english?" then I heard no more voice on the line then it called again with a different number but still I cannot hear the voice so I just said, " I cannot hear you!" But it does happened to me and my husband when he phone me. Now today I checked my email I got this at 1:02AM June 16;

To ensure timely processing and facilitate your travel, we strongly recommend that you submit the new red-coloured passports currently being issued by the Philippines authorities as they are in compliance with the machine-readable passport Requirement of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Valid National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance for every family member age 18 and over (travelling to Canada), issued within the last six months, with thumbprint and dry seal affixed. Please send us the original copy. “Personal Copy” is not accepted. DO NOT FAX YOUR NBI CLEARANCE.


This documentation is reasonably required to complete the assessment of your application. If we do not receive all of the above documentation from you WITHIN FORTY-FIVE (45 DAYS) of the date of this letter, a final review of your application will be completed based on the information available on file. Please note that this may result in a refusal of your application.

congratulations sa lahat ng nag-PPR, visa, at nag-land lately!!

just want to share my PPR story. 2 kami ng husband ko ang pinadalhan ng email pero di ko na received yong sa akin kc mali yng email add na nilagay ng vo, kaya finorward na lng sa akin ng husband ko yng email from cem. that was a red flag for me. so when i received the forwarded email, i DOUBLE checked my name, and bingo, it was mispelled nga! (kaya when u received ur PPR check ur name, UCI (8 digits), File No.). So, what I did, i enclosed, along with my passport, a letter requesting them to correct my f-name sa system/database nila (kc ayaw kng magka-problema sa visa at CoPR na mispelled; ipapaulit din yan eh) + i sent them 2 emails in 2 different e-adds for the same request...then i also printed and attached the email from cem (requesting for passport and appendix a ONLY)...hindi po ako nag-send ng any photo kc wala naman sa letter..rule of thumb, don't send anything na wala sa request, it's like answering an interview na beating around the bush, yng Appendix B po kc para syang adjacent ng A na kapag sinesend yng A talagang nka-attach c B (unless stipulated in the letter)...then in the letter it says something like.....45 days to comply, b4 making final decision (days depende sa VO)..kaya nagbibilang pa po ako ng 45 days ngayon para sa release ng visa ko...tip: if mag-lapse na doon sa days na binigay ng VO sa PPR letter, saka lng po kayo mag-call/email sa CEM...also, kung walang changes sa status ng eCas, dont let it bother u, so long as na received ng CEM ang PP mo (track thru courier). pero cont. checking ur email, may mga cases kc na may pahabol na addt docs. ang ibang vo after PPR. yong lng po!

Thank you for the information. 2 kaming nk received PPR ni sponsor. Appendix A lang talaga ang nk attach sa email nila sakin. ANg fill up ko lang yung sakin na applicant or isulat ko rin sponsor ko sa appendix A? Wala sila nk attach na remed, pero I informed them nuon na expired na nga medical ko. Kung ano ang nasa PPR letter nila yun ang ipapasa ko. ;D

nung binigyan ako ng ppr appendix a lang din nkasulat pero meron appendix b sa attachment ngsend ako 4 n picture then pag return nila sakin dun sa sinend ko 2 yung kinuha yung iba binalik.

dahil nag-submit ka ng new photos, pwede din kc gamitin ng VO yong bagong photos mo para lng latest yong gagamitin nila sa visa mo. ako wala talagang any photos, wala naman kasi sa request. but, i enclosed cem's letter na 2 lng ang request (PP, App-A).

Unang call +44000000000 dun heard yung, "do you speak english?" then wala na nga ako narinig then after a few minutes may call uli ako pero ito naman ang lumabas na number 0932-581-5507 still di ko pa rin marinig boses nang kabilang linya basta sabi ko, I cannot hear you! Nag worry din ako baka kase kung ano na yun at ito nga nag checked ako email.

Baka nga bro CEM na yun!
