to top off something i think that is delaying my app... i just noticed today, is that the email i got from cic in march, i had a uci number... then the uci number i got from cem was one number off... like? common? i tried to call both cic/cem with the uci number... but both don't want to entertain my concern. my husband's app will take longer than i imagine!

i wouldn't wait that long. Tagum might have some advise to give you. he applied January last year, his wife just got her visa recently. that was because they sent the PPR to the wrong e-mail add. You should be aggressive. there is really something wrong with how they handle your app. order gcms notes to find out why it took so long.

yeah i just ordered the atip/gcms notes today. then when i went thru my papers i just noticed my uci numbers are different from the cic and cem. there was one number off... my first uci number was XXXXXX11 and now it's XXXXXX10....

im trying my best now to figure out what's wrong with my husband's papers. ill try to do something until i get answers! thanks!

Thrineann, nakatranslate ba dapat mga messages? Pinasa nalang kasi namin ung sa amin as is. Di na namin trinanslate. Nakalusot naman sa sponsorship approval pero nagworry tuloy ako kung ok sa side ni husband.

Alam ko may nabasa ako sa guidelines dati na kailangan translated,, buti ka nga may personal messages na pinasa, kami wala talaga hehe,l pero approved na pala un sau kaya feeling ko ok na un.. Dont worry

Oo nga sis ako din inorganize talaga namin yung pics tulad nung sayo medyo marami yung wedding, prenup at honeymoon...haha super love kasi namin magpicture ni hubby, di masyadong obvious kasi 3x kami nagprenup...hahaha super adik talaga at naenjoy namin lahat... minsan lang din naman yun di natin sure kung kelan mauulit eh..hehe

Ayos un, makikita nila un evolution, haha parang kami, payat pa dati tas tumaba na sa mga latest pic,, hehe depende nga siguro, kasi wala nga dn kami naipasa kahit chat dahil tinatamad na kami itranslate, at un sa pic wala din caption pero organized, pinagsama sama namin un old, wedding, prenup at honeymoon pics..

Kung walang "red flags" sa relationship sis, hindi naman kailangan masyadong maraming documents.

Nasubukan ko na nga kasi magpresent ng relationship documents sa harap ng visa officer last year noong kumuha ako ng tourist visa. I brought everything pero konti lang naman ang tiningnan. Inabot ko lang yung lumang birthday card saka ilang pictures. And yes, makikita sa pictures na matagal na kami kasi nga bata at payat pa kami dati hehe.

Pero for sure mas mahigpit kung para sa PR visa na ang inaapply. Pero kung legitimate naman ang relationship talaga, makikita naman agad ng visa officer yun.

Ang alam ko sa sponsorhip approval stage, hindi pa inaassess yung relationship. Yung eligibility lang na mag-sponsor. Sa CEM na yata ichecheck yung relationship. I am not sure though.

Hello sis don't worry di pareho tayo di rin nakatranslate yung sakin... ang alam ko kasi yung mga legal document lang ang dapat na nakatranslate kapag hindi nakasulat in English or French like MC, Birth cert. NBI clearance etc. may mga kakilala din ako na may visa na at di nman translated in English mga communication nila sa isa't isa... kami din as is lang lahat ng messages nmin nagprint screen lamg ako. Magiging ok lahat yan pray lang tayo.

Question po.May baby na po kasi before pa kami ikasal. Na-declare naman nya yung baby namin nung time na nag-apply sya ng PR sa Canada pero di nya po kasi ako dineclare na common-law partner kasi di naman kami nagsama sa iisang bahay though he financially supported us. Sa bahay po kasi ng parents kami tumira ng baby ko while he stayed sa bahay nila. Pero kapag may celebrations sa bahay, pumupunta naman sya.

Magkaka-issue po kaya yun? Natatakot kasi ako na baka tanungin ng Immigration na bakit di ako na-declare na common-law partner eh.

On an average, yes it's 5 to 6 months for CEM to request PPRs. But it really is a case to case basis. There is one December 2012 applicant before who got her PPR 3 months after her SA. her husband got his PPR on April 2013 and landed in Canada in last week of April.(not quite sure bout the date hehe).
