Hello everyone!

I just joined this forum kasi napaka informative neto. I tried to back read but I guess medyo mahirap as ang haba na ng thread almost thousands na ang page, anyways, just wanna ask for step by step process ng sponsorship.

here's our info:

Wife: PR Canada/ From Squamish/ 25 years old/
Me: Pinoy/ 26 years old

TimeLine:
Met: Oct 2010 (facebook)
Met: December 2010 Pinas (naging kami na din )
Balik CA: Jan 2011
2nd meet: April 2012 pinas
Got engaged: May 2012
Balik CA: June 2012
Wed prep: June 2012 - May 2013
3rd Meet: April 2013
Married: May 2013
Balik Ca: May 2013

Now what? hehe that's the big question, nag process palang kami ng Marriage certificate and makukuha namin yung NSO copy this coming July first week, Kumuha na din ako ng NBI ko, next na yung cenomar namin and Birth cert. anu anu pa po need namin? we did check yung process sa CIC, pero mas gusto ko sana mag tanung nadin sa inyo since na e-experience niyo first hand lahat. any tips mga ma'am and sir? thank you po in advance sa mga sasagot!

if you want to sponsor your wife prepare the following
1. forms found at CIC website
2. proof of relationship (pictures together especially nung wedding nyo..call records, text messages, if you chat provide copies, (not everything just choose, something that shows your communications showing your love.. if you have traveled together show pictures, plane tickets, etc.)
3. proof of support that you can support her when she moves to Canada (ex, bank statement or certificate, pictures of your properties, like house or cars)
4. tip lang, request na kayo ng Advisory of Marriage from NSO din un, marriage certificate ung NSO paper na, NBI Clearance or police clearance

isip pa ako ng mga ni-send namin.

Ganu kadami po ba ang need nila? and pag nakumpleto na po ba namin yung mga need namin na documents, san po ba kami mag papasa? dito sa pinas or sa canada? ang nanyare kasi napapadoble kami ng kuha ng mga certificate, like marriage cert, 3pcs ata kinuha ko, para lang may reserba if ever, ang tagal naman kasi makakuha sa NSO, and yung AOM na po ba kukunin namin? panu po ba kumuha nun? once again thanks po!

okay lang ng maraming copies, keep one for yourself too. ung AOM pag nag request kayo, CENOMAR ung form na ffill-out nyo. if may record ng marriage automatic ang ibibigay sa inyo ung AOM.
JOINT ACCOUNT?? yes very good, that will be a good proof also of your relationship. apart from your wife's account (financial capability to support)

and gil is correct, send ung mga plane tickets and boarding passes nyo together, phone bills that would reflect yung call record/text mesage showing your number and your wife's. sa chat choose lang siguro kahit konti ( what we did was mga 3 consecutive days for certain months.

another tip pa pala, when you submit your documents, include a letter, parang cover letter telling your love story from the day you knew each other how your relationship developed, how did you propose, etc etc. and if you can ask one of your friends or relatives to create a letter telling how are you as a couple, something like that.

and you also mentioned you will be the one applying for the permanent residency, right? gawa ka din ng letter to the embassy saying that you will do your best effort to find a job to help your wife. i know it's obvious but syempre when you submit something it must be "idiot" proof.. (sabi yan nung atty namin. hehehe)

then finally if everything is complete na, submit nyo muna sa CPC- sa canada. i-evaluate pa ung sponsor mo nun, once approved ibabablik nila sa Manila Office ung papers mo, that's the time you need to be patient in waiting

Guys maraming salamat, dami na tuloy idea natakbo sa isip ko, and medyo nalilinawan na ako. hopefully makagalaw na kami pag dating ng marriage cerificate namin. Ok na idea yung letter ha? hehe sana nga before ako mag birthday ng January eh kasama ko na siya, pero yun nga lang, hope for the best, hehe mahirap lang talaga mag baon ng pasensya lalu na pag malayo ka sa mahal mo. will update you guys, matutulog na din ako. thanks ulet!
