Good day po! , tanong ko lang po kung ilang week(s) or month(s) ang hihintayin for visa? kasi mageexpire na ang med ko this june? i'd just received my PPR last mar 18, kaso nasa uae ako, ipapadala ko na lang ung passport ko sa CEM kasi nagresign na ako sa work dahil matatagalan ang clearance dahil kelangan ko ng 1 month notice, but my passport will not be with me, nag-aalala lang kasi ako pag nakacancel na visa ko dito sa uae, di ako makakauwi agad, salamat po

Case to case basis po di pare pareho meron dating 2-3 months lang si Channel kasama na stage 1 at stage 2 , meron 4 months, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1 year more than 1 year iba iba po depende po sa Application nyo kung kumpleto ang package kit, requirements, proofs, sa Visa officers . Kung staright forward, di lumabas at tumira abroad or nag stay out of the country para magwork for 6 consecutive months. At walang ganung personal history, at walang criminal records. Case to case basis po . Sa akin 1 year and 1 month din po ang inabot kasama na lahat ng delays ng process ng stage 2 ko tinigil dahil sa tagal ng paghihintay at pagpasa ko ng Police Clearance Abroad ko dahil pinakuha ko pa personally sa friend ko dahil di ako mabigyan ng Embassy dahil di sila nag iisue ng Police Clearance i felt so hopeless nung mga time na yun nakuhanan ako ng friend ko twice puro mali pero I waited 4 months para lang sa PC abroad kahit mali pinasa ko pa rin sa CEM. Kaya case to case basis pa rin kung naisama ko na yun sa Application kit mabilis lang sana ako.

Pero everything happen for a reason . Nandito na rin ako so worth it lahat kahit tumagal or mabilis pareho din makakapunta pa rin dito po.

hello guys! ask ko lang po about this matter. nag send po ako application sa CIC-M nung febuary 18, 2013. then now we receive a mail telling us na my wife met the req for eligibility as a sponsor. and our application has been forwarded to visa office Manila. my question is on process na po ba un application ko? also wait lang ba kami for any instruction from Manila Visa Office?

Hi Ruine.

First of all, congratulations that you have passed the first phase - Sponsor Approval.
Yes your application is now sent to Manila CEM (Canadian Embassy Manila).

The next email you should get will be the PPR (Passport Request) in which you will send them the passport and they will issue a visa and return it to you.

Here's the current timeline, currently the PPR's that came out this week shows that people who got Sponsor Approval between Sept 13-19, 2012. So based on that, you can estimate when you will receive your PPR. For your case, Feb 18, 2013 Sponsor Approval, I would estimate around August 2013 PPR.

As far as the status online, it will remain Application Received until they send you a PPR. It will change to IN Process by then.

Also, they will require you to get an AOM (Advisory on Marriage) that you can get thru NSO along with your passport.

My pleasure po basta update nyo nalang po ang CEM at ilagay ang Application File number nyo at na uumpisa po yun sa F0000 if may changes po kayo tulad po ng mailing address kung uuwi po kayo ng Pinas para alam po nila kung saan isesend ang URGENT letter for additional requirements na hihingin po. Saka bago po kayo umalis dyan dyan sa UAE kumuha po muna kayo ng Police Clearance dyan sa UAE para mas mabilis kaysa sa UAE Embassy sa Pinas . Goodluck po sa Application nyo...

ms jen, isa na lang ask ko lang din baka may idea ka, or may ganitong inquiry na din before dito sa forum kasi ung AOR/PPR ko, CEM just asked to provide photo (VISA photo) and ung APPENDIX A (Family members) and passport. aside from those docs, manghihingi pa kaya sila? ... yun lang kasi ung nakalagay sa requested info/docs . .

Kung sa tingin mo sis maeexpire na ang NBI mo pwede kang kumuha kung lang naman maeexpire na pwede mo isama, saka kung nag abroad ka at nag stay ka sa ibang bansa ng more than 6 months pwede ka ng kumuha ng PC abroad kung nag abroad ka lang sis .

Pero usually pag need nila ng PC abroad sa akin nun hiningi nila nun Feb. 13, 2012 via email nasend ko ang PC abroad ko June 4, 2012 tapos naka received ako ng PPR via snail mail Feb. 8, 2012 asking ng mga PP, Additional Family Information, Addresses, Personal History nasend ko sila ng Mar. 23-24, 2012 .

New NBI hiningi nila sa akin Aug. 23, 2012 via snail mail URGENT letter together with remed and Personal History, Additional Family Information.
