GOOD DAY! Im a newbie as well in the forums.
I hope you can help me answer some questions that i have in mind.
Here goes, i've know this guy for about 3-2yrs. he was my friend first before we became a couple. i have been in a relationship with him (my Filipino Canadian Boyfriend for about a year now). He lives in canada while i reside in the Philippines. so we make it a point that we talk everyday for we know the difficulties in a long distance relationship. he is 22 yrs old and im 25. My boyfriend or rather my fiance is coming to PH to vist and to get married as well.

Question: There is no doubt in my heart and mind that we love each other so much and we want to be together so bad. Do you guys think its a good step for us to get married even though its that first time we're gonna meet?

So ok lang po na the proposal was made via skype? Di ba meron question dun na "When and where did the proposal take place?" And my answer would be via skype. Hindi naman siguro magkaka-problem noh?

Wala naman po naging problema sa case namin ni hubby na via skype sya nagpropose yun ang nilagay namin kasi ganun ang nangyari sinagot ko ay :

hello, ask ko lang sa mga nagland na magkano binayaran sa airport,and alam ko kasi terminal fee 550 lang bakit may travel tax pa na 1620, need ba natin bayaran yun?flight ko nA KASI BUKAS.thanks sa reply.

Yung P550 saka P1,620 para sa travel tax sis kasi kapag yung binili nyong ticket ay di pa kasama ang fee ng travel tax kailangan magbayad lalo na yung mga ticket na nabibili online di kasama ang travel tax nun kaya pag dating sa Airport dun magbabayad.

hi everyone! newbie here! hope someone could help me. I have a boyfriend in canada, he's a permanent resident,a Filipino. we're getting married this year, by august. and he will stay here in the Philippines for 5 1/2 mos after the wedding. but we've been in a relationship for almost 5 years as bf/gf. question is: can he file an application to sponsor me even though he's here in the Philippines after the marriage or he needs to come back to canada to file the spousal sponsorship? thanks!

Oo pwede po basta kumpleto ang Application kit ng sponsor at proofs and documents nya na kailangan nya . Pero mas maganda na wag irush para maayos at organize at isend nalang nya pagbalik nya ng Canada kasi sa side mo may mga kukunin ka rin na mga important documents like kailangan nyo pang iparegister ang kasal nyo sa NSO para makakuha ng Marriage Certificate at AOM Advisory on Marriage, NBI, Police Clearance , Medical, Police Clearance abroad kung ang Applicant na nasa Pinas ay nagwork or tumira abroad ng more than 6 months, sa pag change ngstatus sa Passport requirements ay aattend ka ng PDOS kasi PR ang status ng Sponsor mo sa Canada para makakuha ng Certificate na kailangan sa DFA para sa Passport.

Effective October 25, 2012, sponsored spouses or partners must now live together in a legitimate relationship with their sponsor for two years from the day they receive permanent residence status in Canada.

Hi sis. I think that's a question you have to ask to yourself. I don't mean to offend pero if you're concern about the application, as long as you have enough proofs to prove that your relationship is genuine, then you have nothing to worry about. Just don't get married just because of this whole sponsorship thing. after all, marriage is a serious decision, and only you should decide for yourself. goodluck! ;D

Welcome po dito sa forum , pwede po kayong magpakasal agad kasi mahal nyo po ang isa't isa may mga cases din po dito na ganyan tulad ng sa inyo na first time palang sila magkikita on person tapos nagpakasal agad ok lang po yun basta pag nagkita po kayo tandaan nyo lahat ng details mula sa pagsundo mo sa kanya sa Airport hanggang sa pagbalik nyo po dito at magpicture kayo ng maraming dalawa, tapos magpicture din kayo kasama ang family members mo, mga friends mo. Tapos lahat ng resibo ng pinupuntahan nyo ikept mo tapos basta magpicture kayo lagi kung san kayo namamasyal mga ganun. Ipunin nyo lang kasi yun ang mga magiging proofs nyo pag inisponsor ka nya.

First time nyo magkikita kailangan marami kayong pictures tapos pag nag eemail kayo or nag chat chat talk about sa future nyong dalawa at kung ano mga gagawin nyo pagmagkasama na kayo mga ganun wag nyo pag uusapan sa email or chat ang tungkol sa petition. Kasi isesend nyo ring mga proofs ang mga chat logs at emails nyo di naman binabasa ng visa officers yun pero just to make sure .

Tapos basta continue lang kayo ng conversation sa email at chat after wedding at bumalik na sya dito para meron kayong makuwento na continuation ng relationship nyo kasi sa form na Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionaire #30 ata basta sa last question na gumawa ng additional proof ng continuation ng relasyon nyo magkukuwento kayo sa extra sheet of bond paper.

Mahabang proseso pero kaya mo yan kasi kami dito nakaya namin diba kaya goodluck at do not hesitate na magtanong dito kapag may tanong ka ok po WELCOME dito sa Forum...

Tama si sis Rosey_L mahirap ang long distance relationship tapos mameet mo ng first time tapos magpapakasal agad kasi kung ano ang pinapakita sayo online not exactly na totoo lahat yun once you got married at nagkasama na kayo sa isang roof dun malalaman ang totoo ugali mahirap magpakasal agad sobra dapat sigurado ka di lang sigurado kailangan very very sure kasi mahirap ng umatras kilalanin mo muna sya siguro.

Pwede sis basta gandahan nyo ang kwento at habaan at maraming usapan na miss nyo na isa't isa at kung gaano nyo kamahal, ilagay nyo kung ano mga gagawin nyo at plan nyo pag nagkasama kayo at sa future kasi ng anak mo sis, sa chat log at email wag nyo nalang isama pag pinirint or copy paste gandahan mo nalang or iedit diba madali po yun... SamE tayo ng situation. Mag bf/gf kami online for 2 years then nagmeet kami first time, nag pakasal kami agad. Yup it's ok basta make sure na marami kayong proof of relationship esp pictures and chatlogs. Kapag nagkita kayo, better kung magtour kayo, like marami kayong puntahan to show na talagang couples kayo at genuine ang relationship. Make sure din to meet the family of both sides and take pictures with them para Makita na alam nila ang relationship nio.

Ang advise ko is to lessen the stuff regarding the sponsorship/petition. Dun ka magconcentrate sa stuff about how genuine your relationship is, Like yung gusto niyo na magsama kasi miss nio na isat isa ganun. Wag mo maxado isama yung convo nio about sa gusto mong makapunta ng Canada or gusto ka I-petition ng asawa mo, mas ok ilagay yung mga ginawa nio together at kung pano lumago at love nio sa isa't isa.

If you don't mind me asking, anak nio po ba ito ng asawa ninyo? No offense meant pero kasi pwede maging red flag sa CIC yung fact na may anak ka po at hindi ang asawa mo ang tatay nia. Anyway, basta tell them about your love for each other, and not about your plans of going to Canada.

Thanks sa advice.. There is no doubt that our relationship is genuine.. I'm just concerned with the application.. or maybe im just getting paranoid and all.. We really wanna be together so bad... Can't wait to hug him on april! Thanks again sa advice sis! I'm glad people here in the forums are nice and reply fast.
