Spouse/common law questionnaire question 9. IMM 5285

On the question 9 of the spouse/common law questionnaire they ask you if there was any children from your relationship. Well, we have a son who is now 4 and we all have lived together since way before he was born. So, how can there be a custody agreement when we are married and living together. They ask you to explain on a separate sheet, but what are you supposed to tell them? Thanks in advance..

That question is asking about previous relationships. Before the one you are currently in.

Oh, I just noticed it's for inland though I am doing outland so for me it's called IMM 5490. Looks a bit differently.

Some of the forms that we filled out are changing as well -- I had to actually look at the current form to see what the question was asking.
