Dear friends, I applied for the study permit and my spouse applied for the OWP under my application. We submitted our application two days ago and today I received my BIL but nothing has changed under my spouse's application. (Just a ghost updated email) He has done the biometric 3 years ago for Canada, can it be the reason that they don't need his biometric? As we do not have VAC in our country, we need to travel to another country to do our biometric. My question is, do I have to wait to see if the CIC send him a BIL or I need to go alone to the VAC and do my biometric? Is this normal that the primary applicant receive the BIL and not the other applicant?

Your biometrics are valid for 10 years. If he has done his biometrics 3 years ago, they are still valid. In your / his profile, you'll see Biometrics information already linked with the application.
