Hi, its not a very hard question its just i am not quite sure if i put the right answer, its my wifes sponsorship aplication the first page the title is

Application for Permanent Residence

How many family members (including yourself) are included in this application for perminent residence in canada?

i just have to put a number i put 7 its her entire family is that correct or do i just put 1 for her only??

its a dum question but i need this answered plz

thanks

For the purpose of the application, as it states in the guide, "Family Members" include spouse (if not already Canadian) and dependants. This does not include brothers/sisters, parents, grandparents, etc. So if you are only sponsoring your wife and no one else, then "1" would be the correct response here.

thanks alot you are turning into my hero you are anwering all my questions, thanks alot, and i am optomistic i do this only for love.

;D Thank you sir, and best of luck to you! Best to stay optimistic as my signature states... what other option is there, right?

YOU should put 2. Question is how many including you so 1+1=2 i.e you plus spouse

Shibuya,

That is not correct. His wife (or else he would have corrected me) is the only one being sponsored on this application (no children, no other spouse, etc.)

You are either confusing it with the Sponsorship Evaluation Form or did not read luis' question correctly.

please consider having dependents, otherwise the number should be changed. if your wife has no kids of her own or adopted ones, so the number is definitely 1.
