Spousal Work Permit?

My question is fairly simple and I haven't been able to find an answer online to this.
If my wife is Canadian and I am on a work permit, is it possible to get a spousal open work permit while I apply for my PR?

No - not possible. Spousal open work permits (SOWP) are only available to those whose partners are foreign workers or international students.
