Hello all,
I am an international student and will be finishing this coming term, fall 2009. My spouse who has always worked on an open work permit based on my being a full-time student.
Because I only have 2 courses to go, I will be classified as part-time student by my university. My question then is this - can my spouse continue working with his open work permit considering that I will only be a part-time student?
CIC has provided an exemption for part-time students on their final term, i.e. we can still work off-campus. Does an exemption for spouses exist as well?
Thanks in advance.
