my girlfriend is potentially able to apply for PR through provincial program of recent university graduate, but she is having a really hard time finding employment in a skilled position with her general science Bachelor degree unfortunately, and in the meantime is working hard in two jobs that unfortunately fall in the unskiilled NOC categories

we send out resumes continually hoping to land a skilled NOC position before her 2 year deadline after university graduation is up, but we are starting to wonder if going the spousal route might be a better and less stressful way to go (we are in love so it is a logical next step anyways)

so my question is, is the spousal path to PR quicker and less difficult than a skilled employment route (taking the fact that she is having a difficult time finding that job in the meantime, and further education is in her wishes when she can get the PR and no longer be classed as an international student)?

are there any reasons one would want to go with the provincial sponsored university graduate skilled worker method vs. doing pr through the spousal program instead?

thanks

If she is qualified either way works,
Provincial Nominee Program may be slow in some cases...

If you guys are planning to marry that is another option for her....

I have seen some applications for the nominee program where they inquire
about the possibility of being sponsored through marriage, and that suggest me
that an applicant that is planning to get married may not get the priority that we would expect...

I provably would go through marriage sponsorship... the nominee program as you can see,
is just a possibility and not really easy way... specially when its difficult to find a job in the area....
