Spousal visa with TRV

Hi All, I'm planning to apply for a spousal sponsorship for my wife in October. I remember reading an article which said spouse waiting to get PR will automatically get a TRV and that no need to raise a visitor or TRV again. Is this come to action already?

Nothing like this exists at this time. Your spouse needs to apply for a TRV. Approval rates are around 50/50.

The government did indicate that they were planning on making it easier for spouses to travel in Canada while being sponsored. But no program has been launched yet.
