I was on implied status whilst my PR app was being processed. Ultimately the PR app got rejected and I lost my implied status on the 10th of August. I have just recently applied to restore my status as a visitor, though based on the information on the government’s website this could take 5 months.
I have also just recently gotten married and plan to submit a spousal sponsorship application along with an open work permit app. I’m just waiting for the marriage certificate to come through, which should hopefully be early December.
My question is, because I’ll technically have been out of status for 4 months when it comes time to submit the sponsorship app, is this something that’s likely to negatively effect the sponsorship application?
