HI all

We want to submit PR and Sponsoring application we are having a child here in canada next month is this child seen as a dependent for immigration on the forms ? such as the request for birt certificate for the sponsored and for the financial evaluation ?

If child is born in Canada it is already a Canadian citizen, so is NOT a dependent for sponsorship purposes.

Ok thank you so the child is not giving any indication on any of the forms nor his birth certificate sent in ? sorry we are trying to fill out these forms by ourselves so it is very confusing

Just the "Additional Family Information" form.

Yes.

The sponsor does not fill out the Additional Family Information form; only the applicant has to fill it out. The applicant will need to list the Canadian step-children there.

The sponsor will list the Canadian children on IMM5481, Sponsorship Evaluation.

You only need to include birth certificates for the applicant's biological children.
