My husband is a canadian citizen but currently has no job because he cannot work anymore due to his medical condition. He is now receiving a dialysis treatment. He wants to sponsor me but based on what I have read, age difference could be one of the hindrance sometimes. My husband is 29 years older than me. But we known each other for almost 12 years and we have been together for almost 2 years. We are legally married here in the Philippines but we do not have child. Is there any other way that he can sponsor me? He really needs me there specially in this time that he has no family in Canada to take care of him.

He needs to sponsor you through spousal sponsorship. This is the only way that he can sponsor you. Otherwise you would need to qualify for PR entirely on your own through an economic immigration stream like Express Entry.

As long as he is not on welfare / social assistance, sponsoring you should not be an issue. You do have a large age gap however you can try overcome this by providing strong evidence of your relationship.
