Hi guys. Am in really tough situation. have recently applied for refugee from Vamcouver. Still waiting for my hearing . My girfriend is Canadian citizen and pregnant . She is on welfare so cannot sponsor me thru common law . Its been two months since us living together . My refugee case is not very strong so i think it might be rejected. I want to know can i get permanent residency based on new born child . Any info might be appreciated.

No - you cannot get PR based on your new born child.

In order to sponsor you for PR, your girlfriend would have to stop taking welfare before the application is submitted and also remain off welfare for the entire year or more that it takes to process your application. Also, you would need to be married or common law. To be common law, you first have to live together for at least one full year (so you still have 10 months to go).
