I was just hoping to get in touch with fellow sponsors waiting for approval from CIC. We sent in our application on July 7, and have since then seen that the status of the application online states that they "Started processing August 10" - for me, the sponsor. And on my husband's status - for the person being sponsored - it says they started processing his papers on Sept 10. I am wondering what this means as I did not receive a letter/e-mail saying I was approved as a sponsor yet they already started on my husband's papers. Is it correct to assume that means I have been approved but may not have been notified yet? I am asking because I don't want to get my hopes up too quickly. I'm hoping for the best but also terrified of being disappointed.
