hello! i am new here. and wanted to ask regarding spousal sponsorship made outside canada.. i am a permanent resident of canada and sponsoring my husband to come over with me. i got approved with my permanent status here in canada last july 2014 and when i got my PR card with me after 6-7weeks i decided to fly back home to got married. we got married last dec. 2014 and fly back to canada january 30, 2015 with all the needed documents ready for sponsoring my spouse which is included his medical result.. i started the documentations of the papers february and finished all april and passed it to the immigration may 6,2015. i got the acknowledgement mail june 12,2015 that the application was already received.. July 12,2015 i got another message from them that i am approved as a sponsor to sponsor a spouse. after a month Aug.12,2015 i got another message from my mail that they are requesting my husband's passport. so my husband passed his passport to them Aug. 14,2015. now, we are currently waiting for the immigration's response regarding our application. and with this i am asking you guys for some info's regarding this processing. how long should they returned the passport after they have requested from us.. we've been waiting for 2mos already and we got no response yet. anyone of you got the same situation with mine? please give me some information regarding this. and my concern right now is, is he be getting the passport b4 the end of this year? i am so worried coz i am pregnant and i am looking forward in having my husband with me before i gave birth on january. anybody experienced this kind of situation with mine currently? hope to hear from you guys soones
