Hi all,

Is it possible if wife is a Canadian PR and wanted to sponsor husband who lost his Canadian PR status a few years ago (unable to meet the residency requirement) and both are outside Canada at the moment?

Your wife as a PR can only sponsor from inside Canada. She is not living in Canada at? Travelling? I do not know the answer to second part.

Wife has to remain in Canada since she is a PR. Also note that she will have to prove you both intend to live in Canada long term. Might be a bit more difficult considering both of you are currently living abroad, and you yourself couldnt even meet the residency requirements when you were a PR. So both of you will need to show tons of proof you will be living here long term

Technically both own a house here (except, under the wife's name).

Thank you very much for the reply! Greatly Appreciated

Your wife must be physically residing in Canada to sponsor you. Owning a house here is not enough.
