Spousal sponsorship May 2019

I am born Candian and am sponsoring my Mexican National wife. I sent our app by courier May 24th and it was received in Sydney May 27th. We have received nothing. I thought they would acknowledge receiving the package but I guess not. I try the online check online using the number on the receipt for fees we paid, still nothing. From what I have read there is no set period for them to do this but I would think a month is plenty of time

AOR usually takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks to receive. Once you get AOR, you can start checking status online. Until then, you're gonna have to wait.

I am going to give them until the end of July which will be a good 2 months .If I do not receive a reply I will phone them as well as contact my MP

You won’t have any luck phoning them unless you have an application number which you only get if they give you an AOR haha you only get to talk to an agent if you have that number ready to punch when the automated voice thingy ask you to do so. Otherwise you just hang up and wait like the rest of us for AOR or email saying package will be returning to you due to for

Well my prays have been answered, just went on the internet now and received notice that my sponsorship app has been received and given client number. I sent it with UPS and it arrived in Sydney May 27th.

Good stuff man mine still not even processing yet. Guess depends what country your wife is from pray for me bro. May Jesus reunite me and my wife soon. She is still in Vietnam
