Hey guys,

I started the inland sponsorship for my wife who's from South Africa, when I submitted the application in October 2019, I paid some fees but I can't remember what I paid for (there's no breakdown on the Official Receipt), however, the total amount paid was $890 CAD. We didn't apply for an Open Work Permit, but I believe we made some payments towards Biometrics which I believe was $85.

Today we have received a request to submit payment for RPRF which is $500

I can't quiet make sense of what we originally paid for with $890, because the cost for sponsorship without RPRF is $550 (https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp), what did the other $340 go towards? The cost for biometrics is $85 and we didn't apply for the Open Work Permit, so it doesn't add up.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks!

After playing around with the cost of biometrics and OWP, I was able to add the cost up to $890 - it appears that I have paid for an Open Work Permit. Well........ that's embarrassing! ;)
